Project description
Based on the findings of the evaluation conducted in August-Sept 2014, and recommendations from the FCA livelihood expert during the field visits, together with consultative discussions with LWD programme management and field staff, the key challenges of women were identified as: lack of economic opportunities and social participation due to limited access to markets and networking, low business skills, poor knowledge on entrepreneurship and decision-making in both household and community. Improve project staff capacity in providing business mentoring, Training course on the business and value chain based on the capacity assessment aimed at passing on this knowledge and related skills to WACs.
