Identification, rehabilitation and reintegration of Shan victims of trafficking found in Thailand. Also awareness raising activities related to the dangers of human trafficking in the Shan communities. WHY: In recent years the trafficking victims found in Thailand are originally from the Shan state of Myanmar. Therefore the project aims to safe reintegration of the victims into their communities, and prevent new trafficking cases in the Shan communities. RESULTS: victims of trafficikng has access to rehabilitation services and income generation possibilities, Communities have increased understanding of the dangers of migration, and have means to protect themselves from human trafficking BENEFICIARIES: those considering to migrate for labor, victims of trafficking, girls and women in Shan communities, PARTNER: AAT Thailand
