Project evaluation

Evaluation source

In September 2014, the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency carried out an independent evaluation of HERproject (authors: Erik Bryld, Chris Coulter, Christine Kamau and Reza Iftekhar Patwary), given its interest as a funder between 2010 and 2013. The evaluation focussed on two countries (Bangladesh and Kenya), conducting field research to undertake semi-structured interviews and focus group discussions with all stakeholders in the supply chain.

The HERproject website has a detailed breakdown of project outcomes for individuals and businesses. It is unclear how these figures are derived, however.
