The overall objective of the action is to strengthen the role and capacity of local civil society organizations in promoting political, civil, economic, social and cultural rights. In particular, the action aims at strengthening Lao civil society and their networks to engage with the National and Provincial Peoples Assemblies to improve information, dialogue and oversight on womens rights and gender equality in the target provinces.
